For the more adventurous you can’t go past the largest loop off the Darling River Run. The Corner Country lets you explore the western-most part of the NSW outback. Bordered by the dingo fence, this region covers an amazing diversity of landscapes and a huge contrast to the grey-soil plains of the river country.
Ephemeral creeks and lakes are interspersed amongst the Barrier and GreyRanges and red sand dunes of Sturt NP with sandstone mesas rising from ancient seabeds and then there is the Jump-Up country, awe-inspiring. A number of drive loops will take you through a vast array of environments to experience and enjoy or why not stay on Park as there is a variety of accommodation at Sturt NP and camping grounds too. It is essential to pre-book the accommodation.
** NOTE: Part of this tour is on dry-weather roads.**
