These areas are superb examples of Aboriginal connectivity to the land and provide evocative examples of the integral nature that these places are to the indigenous cultures of the area, both historically and contemporaneously.

These areas have provided the cultural sustainability that has enabled the continuous habituation for over 45,000 years. The careful management of these culturally rich sites enables all people to gain a greater understanding of the importance of the Australian Indigenous culture and experience first hand the connectivity of a culture to the land.
